Easy and tasty, this recipe works just as well with turkey steaks cut into thin strips. Hope you enjoy it.
Easy Pork Stroganoff
400g stir fry pork (or turkey)
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 chicken or pork stock cube dissolved in a mug of boiling water
2 tablespoons coarse grain mustard
1 teaspoon clear honey
150ml double or single cream
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and fry the pork for a couple of minutes stirring to make sure it's no longer pink. Fry the pork in batches if needed, remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside on a plate.
Add the onion and garlic to the olive oil and cook for a few minutes until the onion softens. Then add the pork and the stock and simmer for a few minutes before adding the mustard, honey and cream. Cook for 5 minutes more and serve immediately with white rice, chips or boiled potatoes.
